「貴婦人」と呼ばれる蒸気機関車、６年ぶりに復活へ

２０２６年１０月３日からＪＲ山口線で走ります

「貴婦人」というニックネームで有名な蒸気機関車「Ｃ５７」が、２０２６年１０月３日からまた走り始めます。この列車は２０２０年１０月にピストンが壊れてから、ずっと休んでいました。

The steam locomotive "C57", famous for its nickname "Noble Lady", will start running again from October 3, 2026. This train had been resting ever since a piston broke in October 2020.

部品を作る会社がなくなっていたため、ＪＲ西日本は船の部品を作る会社に新しい部品を作ってもらいました。２０２６年９月にテストが終わって、また走る準備ができました。

Because the company that made the parts was no longer in business, JR West had a company that makes ship parts make the new parts. Testing finished in September 2026, and it is now ready to run again.
