野球の日本代表、田口壮さんがヘッドコーチになります

井口資仁新監督と一緒に、２０２８年のオリンピックで金メダルを目指します

２０２６年９月２２日、日本プロ野球組織（ＮＰＢ）は、田口壮さんが「侍ジャパン」のヘッドコーチになると発表しました。田口さんは、アメリカの大リーグ（ＭＬＢ）と日本のプロ野球で活躍した有名な選手でした。大リーグでは、ワールドシリーズで優勝したこともあります。

On September 22, 2026, the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) announced that So Taguchi will become the head coach of 'Samurai Japan'. Mr. Taguchi was a famous player who was active in Major League Baseball (MLB) and Japanese professional baseball. In the Major Leagues, he also won World Series titles.

田口さんは、新しく監督になった井口資仁さんを助けます。２人とも大リーグでの経験がたくさんあります。チームは、２０２６年１１月のアジアプロ野球チャンピオンシップから新しいスタートをします。そして、２０２８年のロサンゼルスオリンピックで金メダルを取ることを目指します。

Mr. Taguchi will support Tadahito Iguchi, who has become the new manager. Both of them have extensive experience in the Major Leagues. The team will make a new start beginning with the Asian Professional Baseball Championship in November 2026. And they will aim to win the gold medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
