訓練で使った「タイフォン」を沖縄で保管します

The "Typhon" system used in training will be stored in Okinawa

沖縄防衛局は9月25日に発表しました。アメリカ軍は、鹿児島県にある鹿屋基地から、沖縄県の嘉手納基地へミサイル装置「タイフォン」を移動します。10月中旬までに移動を終わらせる予定です。

The Okinawa Defense Bureau announced on September 25. The U.S. military will move the "Typhon" missile system from Kanoya Air Base in Kagoshima Prefecture to Kadena Air Base in Okinawa Prefecture. They plan to finish the relocation by mid-October.

この装置は、共同訓練のために一時的に鹿屋基地に置いてありました。防衛局は、今回の移動は「保管」が目的であり、嘉手納基地にずっと置くわけではないと説明しています。

This system was temporarily placed at Kanoya Air Base for joint training. The Defense Bureau explains that the purpose of this relocation is "storage" and it does not mean it will be permanently kept at Kadena Air Base.
