Peak, summit, ridge (of a mountain); back/blunt edge (of a sword or knife).

Examples

• 山の<b>峰</b>にはまだ雪が残っている。 — There is still snow remaining on the mountain peak.
• 彼は剣の<b>峰</b>で相手の攻撃を受け止めた。 — He blocked the opponent's attack with the blunt edge of his sword.
• 遠くに見える連なる<b>峰々</b>が美しい。 — The連なる peaks visible in the distance are beautiful.
