Polite form (-masu)
急ぎます (isogimasu) is the polite non-past form of 急ぐ.
Examples
- 時間がないので、急いでください。 — There's no time, so please hurry.
- 彼はいつも急いでいるので、落ち着いて話す時間がない。 — He is always in a hurry, so he doesn't have time to talk calmly.
- 急ぐ必要はありません。ゆっくりで大丈夫です。 — There's no need to hurry. It's fine to take your time.
