激しい雨が降る午後、健司は駅前のコンビニに急いで駆け込んだ。彼は入り口の傘立てに、自分の新品の透明なビニール傘を置いた。買い物を終えて外に出ると、傘立てには一本の同じ傘が残されていた。彼はそれを自分のものだと確信し、何の疑いもなく手に取って歩き出した。
On an afternoon of heavy rain, Kenji rushed into the convenience store in front of the station. He placed his brand-new clear plastic umbrella in the umbrella stand at the entrance. After finishing his shopping and stepping outside, only one identical umbrella was left in the stand. Convinced it was his, he picked it up without any doubt and started walking.
